The mops have the same power as its vacuums, and it comes with a more attractive design than Roomba. While it does not have the remote control, the T10's smart capabilities will make up for the lack of one. It is easy to start or stop a cleansing cycle, schedule it, and modify the settings of the device with the app.

The ION XL, Shark's most sophisticated self-emptying robot vacuum, is a fantastic choice for those who want to clean their homes without lifting a finger. It also provides exceptional performance. The ION XL is one of the top robot vacuums on the market, suitable for carpets and hard flooring, and it can also sweep and mop your floors. The robot is also able to maneuver around furniture and can navigate stairs and carpeted rooms effortlessly.

I tested the ION XL in a kitchen and family room with hardwood floors, area rugs and a standard debris test. It was excellent at vacuuming and clearing debris, pet hair, and even some of the more difficult to remove carpet crumbs. It was also very good at moving around my bar stool and didn't get in the way of them like the iRobot j7+ did in this test. The only drawback is that the ION XL is unable to detect cords, toys and shoes that may be in its path so you will have to clean your home prior to running this robot vacuum to stay clear of these items.

The ION XL robotic cleaner is not as intelligent as the iRobot J7+, but it's an excellent alternative if you don't want to spend more than $500 on a robotic. It's superior to the eufy RoboVac 11S, in many ways. It's simpler to maintain and has lower costs for recurring maintenance. It's also superior at vacuuming bare flooring and picking up pet fur, but isn't as effective on carpets with a low or higher-pile carpet.

It is also not as sturdy as the Roborock S8, but it is still a very solid alternative. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a large capacity bin. It is controlled by an app or a voice command and is easy to maintain. It's also a reasonable price.
